Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers will kick off the Big Bash League (BBL) 2025-26 season on December 14.
Last season, the Sixers came pretty close to the final. But they suffered a loss in the challenger against rivals Sydney Thunder.
The Scorchers, on the other hand, had a below-average season. They finished in fifth place with four wins.
But now both teams will look to open their campaigns with a solid win. The opening clash is set at the Perth Stadium.
