Elyse Villani is a former Australian cricketer. While she played her last international match back in 2019, she continues to play in domestic cricket.

Villani is an experienced captain in T20 cricket. She has captained several teams in domestic T20 tournaments.
Villani’s first stint came with Perth Scorchers in the 2017/18 WBBL season. She led the Scorchers to the final in her very first season as captain. The next season, she led the Scorchers in five matches, with two wins.
Villani moved to Melbourne Stars in the 2019 season. But she had a disastrous outing as their skipper, winning two of the 14 matches. That was the only season she led the Stars in the WBBL, although she played two more seasons for them.
Ahead of the 2022 edition, Villani moved to Hobart Hurricanes. Since then, she has been leading the Hurricanes in WBBL. The Hurricanes made the knockouts in 2022 and 2024 under Villani’s guidance.
