The International League (ILT20) will return with a brand new season in December 2025. This time, the league kicks off a month earlier than its usual window.
The fourth season of ILT20 will start on December 2, 2025, coinciding with the UAE’s National Day. Defending champions, Dubai Capitals, and Desert Vipers will square off in a rematch of last edition’s final to set the ball rolling.
Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates, and Sharjah Warriorz are the other four teams.
These six teams will play in a double round-robin format. So each team will play 10 matches in the league stages. A total of 30 matches will take place in the league stage, with four double-header days.
After the round-robin stage, four teams will qualify for the playoffs. The top two teams will lock horns in qualifier 1, while the next two teams will battle it out in the eliminator.
Qualifier 1 winner will advance into the final, while the loser will take on the eliminator winner in qualifier 2 for the other final spot. The winners of both qualifiers will then face each other in the title clash, scheduled for January 4, 2026.
