The Barabati Stadium is a part of India’s rich cricket history. It is among the oldest cricket venues in the country, having been established in 1958.

The venue, based in Odisha’s Cuttack, has been hosting cricket fixtures since the 1960s. But it was in 1982 when the first international cricket match took place here.

Since then, the Barabati Stadium has been hosting international matches across formats. While Test cricket hasn’t been played here a lot, the limited-overs matches continue to take place quite frequently.

Here you can find the Barabati Stadium’s records and stats in Test, ODI, and T20I cricket.

In over 20 ODIs played in Cuttack, the venue has seen moderate scores. It’s only in recent years that there have been frequent 300-plus totals.

So this shows batters tend to get more help here, with batting second yielding better results. Bowlers, especially spinners, find some help in the first half. But dew makes things difficult in the second innings.

Cuttack hasn’t hosted a lot of T20I matches. But taking into account all T20 matches, the venues seem to offer balanced conditions.

Spinners, obviously, make things difficult in the first half. Fast bowlers also find decent carry and pace.

The enough bounce and pace mean batters also find value for their shots, making run-scoring easy in the initial overs.
