Before becoming the national T20I captain, Litton showed his leadership skills in the 2024 BPL, leading Comilla Victorians to the final in his first season as captain. The team won 8 out of 12 group-stage games and stormed into the playoffs, eventually finishing as runners-up.
Though he didn’t lift the trophy, Litton’s strong campaign in the BPL played a key role in his elevation to Bangladesh’s T20I captaincy.
