    Today in this article we will look at the Top 8 players who scored the most runs in the IPL playoffs. Suresh Raina tops the list in terms of scoring the most runs in the IPL playoffs.  Mahendra Singh Dhoni is in second place. Shubhman Gill is in third place with 474 runs.

    1. Suresh Raina

    Chennai Super Kings’ explosive batsman Suresh Raina has scored 714 runs in 24 innings in the playoff stages at an impressive average of 37.57 and a staggering strike rate of 155.21.His best score in playoffs is 87. He scored seven half-centuries in these high-pressure games. His aggressive and consistent performance played a crucial role in the success of CSK.

    2. MS Dhoni

    Mahendra Singh Dhoni, known as Captain Cool, is the captain of the Chennai Super Kings. His excellent leadership ability under pressure and adverse circumstances makes him different from others. In 22 innings of IPL knockouts, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has scored 523 runs at an average of 37.35 and a strike rate of 132.40. His best score is 63 not out.

     3. Shubhman Gill

    GT captain and former Kolkata Knight Riders’ young and talented batsman, Shubhman Gill, has got limited opportunities in IPL knockouts. Gill played only nine innings. He showed his talent by scoring 435 runs at an impressive average of 54.37 and a strike rate of 142.15. His best score in the knockout was 129 runs. He scores more than 50 in almost every match, which shows his ability.

    4. Shane Watson 

    Australian all-rounder Shane Watson plays an important role in the knockout stage. In the IPL knockout, Watson has scored 389 runs in 12 innings at an average of 35.36 and a great strike rate of 151.36. His best score is 117 not out.

    5. Michael Hussey 

    Michael Hussey is also known as Mr. Cricket. Michael Hussey was a dependable performer for Chennai Super Kings.. He scored 388 runs in 11 innings at an excellent average of 38.80 and a strike rate of 124.35. His highest score was 86 not out. He scored seven half-centuries in these high-pressure games.

    6. Faf du Plessis 

    South African player Faf du Plessis has scored 373 runs in the IPL playoffs.Faf was player of the match in 2021 final for his incredible innings of 86 runs off 59 balls. 

    7. Murali Vijay 

    Murali Vijay has scored 364 runs in the IPL playoffs. Murali played a brilliant inning of 113 runs off 58 balls against Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2012 Qualifier-2.

    8. Dwayne Smith 

    Dwayne Smith has scored 351 runs in the IPL playoffs. He has played 91 matches in the IPL, scored 2385 runs and took 26 wickets.
