With their maiden world title under their belt, India Women were originally scheduled to play three bilateral series — against Australia (away), Bangladesh (home), and England (away) — leading up to the next T20 World Cup in mid-2026. However, the Bangladesh series has now been postponed indefinitely following the latest communication from BCCI.

India Women began their World Cup preparation with a home ODI series against Australia in September 2025. The series was crucial in finalizing combinations ahead of the ICC Women’s World Cup.

The much-awaited home series against Bangladesh Women, originally scheduled for December 2025, has now been postponed indefinitely. The series included three ODIs and three T20Is and was expected to kickstart the new ICC Women’s ODI Championship cycle.
According to the latest update, BCCI conveyed that the Indian women’s team will be given an extended rest period following their World Cup triumph and ahead of the Women’s Premier League (WPL). The series will be rescheduled later as it is a part of the ICC Future Tour Programme.
Australia Women vs India Women (3 T20Is, 3 ODIs, 1 Test): February–March 2026
India Women’s first overseas challenge of 2026 will be a multi-format tour of Australia, starting mid-February. The series will include 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs, and a one-off Test match in Perth.
The first T20I will be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground on February 15, followed by the second and third in Canberra (February 19) and Adelaide (February 21).

The ODI leg will begin in Brisbane (February 24) and conclude with back-to-back games at Hobart’s Bellerive Oval on February 27 and March 1. The tour will wrap up with a four-day Test match at Perth Stadium from March 6 to 9, 2026.
England Women vs India Women (3 T20Is, 1 Test): May–July 2026
After the Australian tour, India Women will travel to England for another important multi-format series before the T20 World Cup. The three T20Is are scheduled in Chelmsford (May 28), Bristol (May 30), and Taunton (June 2), followed by a one-off Test match at Lord’s from July 10–13, 2026.
This series will serve as final preparation for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England, where India will aim to continue their golden run and add another ICC title to their name.
