Melbourne Renegades and Brisbane Heat will square off in the second match of the BBL 2025-26 season.
Both teams are coming off average outings last season. The Heat, in particular, had a contrasting season after lifting the title in the 2023/24 season. They managed just three wins to finish in seventh place.
The Renegades also had a leadership change, which didn’t quite work well. They finished one spot above the Heat with four wins.
But now both teams will hope to turn things around as they open their BBL 2025-26 campaign. The Renegades will host the Heat in Geelong on December 15, 2025.
