Australia’s Mackay will host a short T20 tournament in August 2025. The Mackay T20 Championship 2025 will commence on August 1.
It will be a three-day affair, with eight teams split into two groups in the fray. The participating teams are Chargers, Comets, Magic, Marlins, Pirates, Rays, Rockets, and Wolves. Chargers will take on Comets in the opening fixture of the Mackay T20 Championship 2025.
Eight matches each will take place on August 1 and 2, as teams battle it out against their group members once.
Then the top two teams from both groups will head into the semi-finals, scheduled on August 3. The final will follow soon, with the two semi-final winners locking horns for the title. In all, 19 matches will take place in the Mackay T20 Championship 2025.
