The Shpageeza Cricket League 2025 is currently underway in Afghanistan. Organised by the Afghanistan Cricket Board, the T20 tournament started on July 19, 2025.
The T20 tournament will run for two weeks, with five domestic teams. The teams will take on each other to stake a claim on the two final spots.
With a short and quick tournament, we can expect a lot of thrillers. The two teams that manage to stay at the top will have a shot at the trophy on August 1.
But before that, the teams will have to carve their way out of the league stage. And there’s no other option but to win as many matches as possible.

The Shpegeeza Cricket League will see a double-round robin format. The teams will face each other twice in the league stage. So teams will play eight league games each over two weeks. In all, 21 matches will take place in the tournament.
