India is all set to stage the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. The 50-over event will start on September 30 in Guwahati.
India women will open the tournament with a clash against Sri Lanka women. In all, eight teams will feature in the 13th edition of the tournament.
All teams will meet each other in a single round-robin format. So each team will play seven matches to qualify for the semi-finals.
The top four sides on the points table will make it to the semis, scheduled for October 29 and 30. The tournament final will take place on November 2.
Overall, 31 matches will take place across five stadiums in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. While India is the official host, Sri Lanka will host a few matches, especially those involving Pakistan.
