Rajasthan Royals Chase the Target
Rajasthan Royals started their chase aggressively. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave the team a fast start.
Josh Hazlewood dismissed Jaiswal for 13 at the end of the first over. However, Sooryavanshi continued attacking the bowlers and built a big partnership with the next batter. RR reached 129/1 after eight overs and looked comfortable in the chase.
Krunal Pandya brought RCB back into the match when he dismissed Sooryavanshi for a brilliant 78 from 26 balls. Shimron Hetmyer followed for a first-ball duck and RR suddenly slipped to 133/4.
Dhruv Jurel then played a match-winning innings. He reached his fifty from just 25 balls and guided the team along with captain Riyan Parag. After Parag’s dismissal, RR still needed 65 runs from 60 balls.
Jurel continued his impressive knock and finished unbeaten on 81. Ravindra Jadeja supported him with 24 not out as Rajasthan Royals completed the chase.
