The World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 is up and running. It’s the fourth iteration of the Test tournament, which started on June 17, 2025.
Sri Lanka and Bangladesh were the first to get going in the WTC 2025-27 cycle. Then England and India joined the bandwagon with a spicy series.
It’s a long schedule where teams will grind hard for almost two years. Their performance across the tournament will determine their qualification for the final.
So teams will need to put up consistent performance in challenging conditions, at home as well as away.

Teams earn 12 points for a Test win. A tie will see both teams split six points. And a draw will see both teams grab four points each.

WTC 2025-27: Match Results
Teams will play six Test series over two years. Three of those series will take place at home, while the other three will be in away conditions.
As many as 71 Tests will take place in the lead-up to the WTC Final 2027. Each team plays a varying number of Tests.
