After wrapping up the home season on a positive note, the West Indies will embark on away tours. The Caribbean team will feature in all overseas assignments in the rest of the 2025-26 cricketing season.
They will be in Asia for a month, with fixtures scheduled against Nepal, India, and Bangladesh. Then the West Indies will fly to New Zealand for an all-format series.
The Men in Maroon will begin 2026 with quick tours to the UAE and South Africa. And they will end the season with the T20 World Cup in the subcontinent. All in all, they have plenty of cricket on their plate.

Nepal vs West Indies (3 T20Is): September 2025
Once the CPL ends, the West Indies players will assemble for their international commitments. Their first tour will be to the UAE.
The Caribbean side will play against Nepal in a T20I series. This will be the first time both teams play a bilateral series.
The first T20I will take place on September 25, with the second and third scheduled on September 27 and 30, respectively. Sharjah will host all matches.
India vs West Indies (2 Tests): October 2025
The West Indies will fly from the UAE to India for their next assignment. Here they will play two Tests against the home side.
The first Test match begins on October 2 in Ahmedabad. The second will start on October 14 in Delhi. Both matches are part of the current WTC cycle.
Bangladesh vs West Indies (3 ODIs, 3 T20Is): October 2025
After the Test series in India, the Caribbean side will travel to neighbouring Bangladesh. They will play a white-ball series against them in the second half of October 2025. Bangladesh and the West Indies will square off in three ODIs and three T20Is.
New Zealand vs West Indies (5 T20Is, 3 ODIs, 3 Tests): November-December 2025
Then the West Indies will hop on a one-and-a-half-month-long New Zealand tour. The Kiwis will host them in a multi-format series in November-December 2025.
The series starts with five T20Is, with the first two scheduled in Auckland on November 5 and 6. Nelson will host the next two T20Is, while Dunedin will host the last on November 13.
Three ODIs will then follow, with the first one in Christchurch on November 16. The second 50-over game will be in Napier on November 19. And the final ODI will be at Hamilton on November 22.
Then the attention will turn towards three Tests, part of the WTC cycle. Christchurch will kick off the Test leg on December 2. Wellington will stage the second red-ball match from December 10 onwards. And the third Test will start on December 18 at Mount Maunganui.
Afghanistan vs West Indies (3 T20Is): January 2026
A refreshed Caribbean side will make a quick pit stop in the UAE. They will play three T20Is against Afghanistan in January 2026.
South Africa vs West Indies (5 T20Is): January-February 2026
After the Afghanistan T20Is, the West Indies will immediately leave for South Africa. They will engage in a five-T20I series against the hosts.
The first matches will take place on January 27 in Paarl, with the second on January 29 in Cape Town. East London will stage the third T20I on February 1, while Centurion will host the fourth on February 4. Johannesburg will close out the tour with the last T20I on February 6.
T20 World Cup 2026: February-March 2026
After the South Africa tour, the West Indies will fly straight to India. They will turn up in the 20-team T20 World Cup, scheduled for February-March 2026.
