The Cricket Cranes will fight for a berth in the T20 World Cup, scheduled for early 2026. Plus, there will be few matches scheduled to keep Uganda busy in this season.

T20 World Cup Africa Regional Final: September-October 2025
Uganda will play in the T20 World Cup Africa Regional Final 2025. They are in the race to claim one of the two spots available in the T20 World Cup 2026.
Uganda directly qualified for the regional final after their appearance in the last T20 World Cup edition. So they must be eager to return to the grand event.
But first, Uganda will have to battle it out in Group B fixtures. They will face hosts Zimbabwe in the first match on September 26.
The Cricket Cranes will take on Tanzania in the second match on September 28. And their last group fixture will be against Botswana on September 30.
After the group stage, two semi-finals and the final will follow. The two finalists will advance to the T20 World Cup 2026.
