The United Arab Emirates (UAE) have a packed 2025-26 cricket season ahead of them. They have four triangular series lined up, along with two multilateral tournaments.
And the UAE will perhaps feature in the T20 World Cup 2026. They are a step away from booking their slot in the T20I showpiece event.
So the UAE’s preparation will be in full swing to confirm their spot, with a lot of T20I action on their plate. They also have plenty of ODI cricket to deal with this season.

UAE T20I Tri-Series: August-September 2025
The UAE will host lots of T20Is, starting with a triangular series in August and September. They will take on Afghanistan and Pakistan in four T20Is over 10 days.
The hosts will first meet Pakistan on August 30, followed by Afghanistan on September 1. Then their return fixtures against both teams will take place on September 4 and 5.
The UAE might appear in the final slated for September 7 if they finish in the top two.
Asia Cup: September 2025
After the triangular series, the UAE will gear up for the Asia Cup on home soil. They feature in Group A, along with India, Oman, and Pakistan.
UAE will take on India in their first fixture on September 10, with the next against Oman on September 15. The UAE’s last group match is against Pakistan on September 17.
If the UAE finish in the top two in Group A, they will further move into the Super Four stage.
T20 World Cup Asia & EAP Regional Final: October 2025
Once the Asia Cup concludes, the UAE will fight for a T20 World Cup spot. They will travel to neighbouring Oman to play in the Asia & EAP regional final.
The UAE are part of Group A, which also features Malaysia and Qatar. They will first square off against Qatar on October 8, while taking on Malaysia two days later.
If the UAE seal one of the top two spots, then they will advance to the Super Six stage. And in this round, they should aim for a top three finish to book their T20 World Cup ticket.
UAE Tri-Nation Series: October 2025
The UAE will return home for an ODI tri-series. They will play two ODIs each against Nepal and the USA in the second half of October 2025.
Nepal Tri-Nation Series: March 2025
The UAE will fly to Nepal for the 16th round of the World Cup League 2 fixtures. They will feature in an ODI tri-nation series comprising the hosts and Oman. They have four ODIs scheduled, two each against Nepal and Oman in March 2025.
USA Tri-Nation Series: May 2025
The UAE will close out the season with a trip to the USA. It will be another ODI tri-series for them against the USA and Namibia. They will take on both teams in four ODIs in May 2025.
