The Hundred Women’s Competition is one of the most premier competitions in women’s cricket. It allows the top cricketers around the world to compete at one place. Just like the men’s competition, 8 teams representing the top cities or counties in England play in this tournament.
The growth of the Hundred Women’s competition has been exceptional, and it has matched the men’s competition in order to attract eyeballs globally. 1. Oval Invincibles – 2021
Oval Invincibles are the most successful team in men’s and women’s competition. They won the inaugural edition of the Hundred Women’s Competition in 2021. Under the captaincy of Dane van Niekerk, they finished the group stage in the second spot. The Invincibles then beat Birmingham Phoenix in a close game in the eliminator. Later, in the final, they beat the Southern Brave by 48 runs in the final courtesy of 4/9 by Marizzane Kapp and became the champion.
2. Oval Invincibles – 2022
Oval Invincibles carried their form from the first season to the second edition. This time they finished the group stage at the top under the leadership of Suzie Bates. Finishing at the top helped them book a ticket for the final. In the final, they were up against Southern Brave once again. This time as well, they beat them clinically to win the second title in a row and become champions again.
3. Southern Brave – 2023
After finishing the first two seasons as runners-up, Southern Brave finally broke the jinx and became the champion of the third edition of The Hundred Women’s 2023. Southern Brave were unstoppable and won seven out of 8 group games to qualify for the final. Under Anya Shrubsole, the Brave faced Northern Superchargers in the final at Lord’s. They recorded a 34-run win to lift their maiden title.
4. London Spirit – 2024
London Spirit were only the third team to win the Hundred Women’s Competition. They had the most dramatic path to win the title. During the league stage, they had luck on their side, and one of their games was washed out, which gave them one point. That helped them to qualify for the next round. In the Eliminator, they beat the two-time champion Oval Invincibles by 8 wickets to qualify for the final. Then, they faced Welsh Fire in the final and bagged a close four-wicket win to lift the title under Heather Knight.
5. Northern Superchargers – 2025
The most recent team to lift the Hundred Women Competition is Northern Superchargers. They won the 2025 edition under Hollie Armitage, and became the fourth team to lift the championship. The Superchargers finished second on the points table and made it to the Eliminator, where they faced London Spirit and won it by 42 runs. Davina Perrin slammed a brilliant century and made 101 off 43. In the final, they met Southern Brave and bagged a 7-wicket win to script history.
