With the success of T20 leagues, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) came up with the idea of the 100-ball league, known as The Hundred Competition. However, there were a few challenges early on, but it became very popular over time. The first edition took place in 2021, and so far, this league has hosted five seasons successfully in men’s and women’s formats.
