The Manuka Oval is a prominent cricket venue located in Australia’s capital, Canberra. It has been hosting international cricket since 1988, although not as frequently as other Australian venues.
Nevertheless, the Manuka Oval traditionally hosts the first-class match between the Prime Minister’s XI and a touring Test side every year. Apart from that, women’s cricket, the women’s Big Bash League, and the men’s Big Bash League are regular affairs here.
While the Manuka Oval may not be a regular for international fixtures, it has hosted a handful of Tests, ODIs, and T20Is.
Here you can look at the Manuka Oval’s records and stats in Test, ODI, and T20I cricket.

The Manuka Oval has hosted a decent number of ODIs, including a few World Cup fixtures. In that limited number, the venue has seen teams post 280-plus totals quite frequently.
This means batters usually enjoy batting here. Chris Gayle’s 215 against Zimbabwe in the 2015 World Cup is a perfect example of this. His mighty knock, laced with 10 fours and 16 sixes, helped the West Indies reach 373 for 2.
The highest total at this venue, though, belongs to South Africa, who smashed 411 for 4 against Ireland in the same World Cup.
So teams generally look to put up totals in excess of 280 runs to have a solid chance of winning the match. Toss also plays a massive role, as teams winning it have a better record.

The Manuka Oval hasn’t hosted a lot of T20Is. But based on the small sample size, it seems like a balanced venue for T20Is.
The average first innings score hovers around 145, though it’s a 170-180 venue. Chasing totals in this range might be difficult here, as the surface slows down in the second half.
