The Bellerive Oval may not be the most famous cricket stadium in Australia, but it certainly is among the most scenic ones. It’s located on the banks of the River Derwent.
While the venue was opened in 1914, it was only towards the late 1980s that international cricket took place. Since then, the Hobart-based venue has hosted a considerable number of international matches.
On the domestic front, the Bellerive Oval hosts Tasmania and Hobart Hurricanes, with plenty of BBL and WBBL matches scheduled every year.
Here you can look at the Bellerive Oval’s records and stats for Test, ODI, and T20I cricket.

The Bellerive Oval has hosted just over a dozen men’s T20Is. And thus far, the venue has seen balanced outcomes, with the toss playing no major role.
Batting first, teams generally look to put up 170-180 runs on the board. Chasing seems a bit hard, given that only three times have teams gunned down a target of 150 or more runs.
