Sri Lanka have all white-ball assignments lined up in their 2025-26 fixtures. They will be hopping from one country to another to play five bilateral limited-overs series.
The Lankan Lions will make overseas trips to Zimbabwe, Pakistan, and the UAE. In between their away tours, Sri Lanka will host two European sides. And they will gear up for the home T20 World Cup in early 2026.
While Sri Lanka won’t play a single Test this season, they would like to flex their muscle in limited-overs cricket.

Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka (2 ODIs, 3 T20Is): August-September 2025
After a month-long break, Sri Lanka will return to action in Zimbabwe. They will tour the African nation for three ODIs and as many T20Is.
The ODI leg will start the tour in Harare on August 28. The second one-dayer will take place on August 31.
Then the three T20Is will take precedence, which will prepare Sri Lanka for the Asia Cup. The first 20-over game will take place on September 3, followed by the next two on September 6 and 7, respectively.

Sri Lanka Asia Cup Schedule (September 2025)
Sri Lanka will immediately fly to the UAE for the Asia Cup 2025. Their campaign starts on September 13 against Bangladesh in the continental tournaments.
Sri Lanka’s next game will be against Hong Kong on September 15. And their last Group B fixture will be against Afghanistan on September 18.

Sri Lanka vs Ireland (3 ODIs, 3 T20Is): October-November 2025
After a small break, Sri Lanka will resume their white-ball assignments. They will play hosts to Ireland for three one-dayers and three T20Is in October-November 2025.
ODIs will take place first, followed by T20Is, which will help both sides fine-tune their preparations for the T20 World Cup.
Pakistan vs Sri Lanka (3 ODIs, 3 T20Is): November 2025
In the second week of November 2025, Sri Lanka will make a trip to Pakistan. They will follow a similar itinerary in Pakistan, with three ODIs and three T20Is.
Sri Lanka vs England (3 ODIs, 3 T20Is): January-February 2026
Sri Lanka will resume their international duties in the new year. They will welcome England for a limited-overs series.
The series will feature three ODIs and as many T20 matches. The 20-over games will provide the last preparation for the T20 World Cup.
T20 World Cup: February-March 2026
Sri Lanka is all set to co-host the global T20 event. So many teams will arrive in the island nation for the tournament in February-March 2026.
Since Sri Lanka will play in familiar conditions, they would like to add an ICC trophy to their cabinet.

Sri Lanka will wrap up their fixtures in the UAE. Afghanistan will host them for three ODIs and three T20Is in the Middle Eastern country in March 2026.
