The restructured Quaid-e-Azam Trophy will begin in October 2025. Earlier, the first-class tournament was scheduled to start in late September. But the tournament’s start has been postponed to October.
A total of eight teams, down from 18 last season, will feature in Pakistan’s premier first-class tournament.
Six of those teams are Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, Islamabad, Lahore Whites, Peshawar, and Sialkot. The other two teams will qualify from the Hanif Mohammad Trophy.
The eight qualified teams will face each other twice in the revamped structure, with the top two teams heading into the final.
The final of the Quaid-e-Azam 2025 season is expected to take place in December 2025.

The Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2025 was scheduled to start on September 22, 2025. But the start of the tournament has now been pushed to October 2025. The complete schedule for the same has not yet been announced.
