The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) will organise its state T20 league, the Kerala Cricket League (KCL), in 2025. This will be the second edition of the T20 tournament.
KCL 2025 will start on August 22, with the opening game in Thiruvananthapuram. The league has received a massive boost as Sanju Samson will make his debut this season.
He will turn up for Kochi Blue Tigers after being bought for INR 26.80 lakh. The other five teams are Alleppey Ripples, Trivandrum Royals, Aries Kollam Sailors, Calicut Globstars, and Thrissur Titans.
Teams will play in a double-league format, facing the other five sides twice each. Then the top four sides will qualify for the knockout stage. The final of KCL 2025 will take place on September 7 in Thiruvananthapuram.
