The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a wide range of broadcasters for the tournament to be held between September 30 and November 2.
The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 will be the 13th edition of the 50-over women’s cricket tournament. India will be hosting the tournament after a gap of a decade. They last hosted the tournament in 1978, 1997 and 2013.
ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Teams and Venues
It will feature a total of 8 teams, including the defending champions Australia, hosts India and Sri Lanka, followed by other ICC member nations like Pakistan, England, South Africa, New Zealand and Bangladesh.
The tournament will be played in a round-robin format followed by the knockouts. A total of 31 matches will be held across five venues in India and Sri Lanka. Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, Holkar Stadium in Indore, ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam and DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai, alongside Sri Lanka’s R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, will host all the matches.
During the knockout phase, one semi-final match will be played in Navi Mumbai, while the venues for the other semi-final and the final match are yet to be confirmed. It must be noted that as part of an agreement between BCCI, PCB and ICC, all the matches involving the Pakistan cricket team will be played at a neutral venue outside India, likely in Sri Lanka.
The opening match of the tournament will feature both the host nations as India Women take on Sri Lanka Women at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on September 30. Both the semi-final matches are scheduled on October 29 and October 30, followed by the final match on November 2.

Where to Watch the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Live Streaming & Telecast?
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a broad list of broadcasters across the world. In India, the tournament will be on Star Sports Network TV channels and live streaming on JioHotstar, featuring commentary in English, Hindi and other regional Indian languages.
The Star Sports feed will also be available to their neighbouring nations through their partner broadcasters. Meanwhile, Maharaja TV and Star Sports will broadcast the tournament in Sri Lanka. PTV and Ten Sports are official broadcasters in Pakistan, and T Sports in Bangladesh.
In Europe, Sky Sports is the official broadcaster in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Sky Sports will also broadcast the tournament in New Zealand through their Sky TV NZ network. Meanwhile, Willow TV and ESPN are the official broadcasters for the tournament in the Americas region.
As for the fans of the defending champions, the Australia women’s cricket team, they will be able to enjoy the whole tournament through Amazon and Prime Video. Other than that, SuperSport is the official regional broadcaster for the tournament in the Africa region.
