After losing the Asia Pacific Cricket Champions Trophy, Hong Kong will gear up for their important assignment of the 2025-26 season.
The East Asian nation will participate in the Asia Cup. They made it to the continental tournament after finishing third in the 2024 ACC Premier Cup.
While Hong Kong failed to book a spot in the T20 World Cup 2026, they have plenty to show in the Asia Cup. And they might play a few more games in the rest of the season.

Asia Cup 2025: September 2025
Hong Kong will return to the Asia Cup tournament after three years. They will feature in the 2025 edition alongside Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka in Group B.
Hong Kong will appear in the tournament opener versus Afghanistan on September 9. Two days later, the East Asian side will take on Bangladesh. Hong Kong’s last group match will be against Sri Lanka on September 15.
If Hong Kong manage to pull an upset or two, they might be on their way to the Super Four stage, which starts on September 20.
