The Bangladesh men’s cricket team has a busy itinerary in the 2025-26 season. They have a lot of white-ball cricket on the cards, with a few Tests crammed in between.
Most of the matches will take place at home as five opponents arrive from August 2025 to April 2026. Bangladesh will also feature in important assignments – the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup.
They will look to end their trophy drought with some solid preparation in the 2025-26 season.

Bangladesh vs Netherlands (3 T20Is): August-September 2025
After India postponed their visit, Bangladesh pencilled in a short T20I series against the Netherlands, comprising three matches.
The first T20I will take place on August 30, while the second will be on September 1. The third T20I will be played on September 3. All matches will take place in Sylhet.

Bangladesh Asia Cup Schedule: September 2025
Bangladesh will leave for the UAE for the Asia Cup. The continental tournament starts on September 9, with Bangladesh playing their first match two days later.
The Bangla tigers feature in Group B alongside Afghanistan, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh vs West Indies (3 ODIs, 3 T20Is): October 2025
After a short break, Bangladesh will lock horns against the West Indies at home in October 2025. They will take on the Caribbean side in white-ball games. The series features three ODIs and as many T20Is.
Bangladesh vs Ireland (2 Tests, 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is): November-December 2025
Bangladesh will then host Ireland in November-December 2025. The Irish side will arrive for two Tests, three one-dayers, and three T20Is.
The Test matches, though, aren’t part of the 2025-27 WTC edition, while the T20Is will help prepare both sides for the T20 World Cup.
T20 World Cup: February-March 2026
Bangladesh will feature in the T20 World Cup 2026 after securing direct qualification based on their previous edition’s performance. They will most likely play their matches in India, with a few scheduled in Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh vs Pakistan (2 Tests, 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is): March-April 2026
Following the T20 World Cup, Bangladesh will host Pakistan. The itinerary comprises two WTC Tests, three one-dayers, and three T20Is. The series will start in March and run till mid-April.
Bangladesh vs New Zealand (3 ODIs, 3 T20Is): April 2026
Once Pakistan departs, Bangladesh will welcome New Zealand for a white-ball series. The Bangla tigers and the Kiwis will tussle against each other in three ODIs and three T20Is in April 2026.
