Pakistan women’s cricket team will embark on an Ireland tour in early August 2025. And the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the squad for the same on July 23.
The squad comprises 15 members, captained by Fatima Sana. She will lead Pakistan in a three-T20I series starting on August 6, 2025.
This series will help Pakistan check their squad composition ahead of next year’s Women’s T20 World Cup, scheduled in England.

Maiden Call-Up for Eyman Fatima
Pakistan seemed to be right on track in their preparations for the mega event. The selectors have called up Eyman Fatima in the squad.
This will be her maiden stint with the senior team. Fatima has rightfully earned the selection with her aggressive performances in the domestic circuit.
Her fearless batting approach in the National T20 Tournament caught the eyes of the selectors. She struck at 155.14 while aggregating 287 runs in eight outings.
Fatima’s aggressive approach will be a massive boost for Pakistan’s batting lineup.

Squad Picked After a Camp
PCB has organised a special camp for the women’s team. A total of 24 players are part of the camp, out of which 15 have been selected for the tour.
The 15 members will continue to train in a pre-series camp. Here they will do the final checks before they fly to Ireland.
The squad for Ireland series has a right balance of experience and youth. Muneeba Ali and Aliya Riaz will shoulder the batting responsibility, while Sana and Diana Baig will contribute with their all-round skills.
In the bowling department, Waheeda Akhtar and Sadia Iqbal will lead the pace attack. And the spin responsibility will fall on Nashra Sandhu and Tuba Hassan.
