India’s experienced batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are expected to play an important role in the ODI format during the 2026–27 home season. Both players are focusing mainly on One Day Internationals as India prepares for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2027.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the ODI fixtures for the home season. India will play three ODI series at home against West Indies, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
In total, India will play nine ODIs at home during this period. These matches will help the team build combinations and prepare for the upcoming World Cup.
India’s ODI Schedule for the 2026–27 Home Season
India will host three teams for ODI series during the home season. Each series will include three matches.
West Indies Tour of India 2026 (ODIs)
India will begin their home ODI season with a three-match series against West Indies in September and October 2026.
