Australia will kick off their domestic 2025-26 season with the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL). The women’s 50-over tournament will start on September 24, 2025.
As many as seven teams will compete in the WNCL 2025-26. Each team will face the other six opponents over seven rounds.
The first two rounds will take place before the T20 Spring Challenge and the Women’s Big Bash League. Several prominent faces will miss the first two rounds due to their presence in the Women’s World Cup in India.
The WNCL 2025-26 will then resume in early 2026, with the remaining five rounds scheduled between January and March. After the round robin format, the top two teams will compete in the final on March 21, 2026.
In all, the WNCL 2025-26 will see 43 matches, including the final, played across eight venues.
