Harmanpreet Kaur led India for the first time in 2012, even though she hadn’t established herself yet. But what an incredible captaincy start she had.
Harmanpreet’s captaincy debut came in the 2012 T20 Asia Cup final against Pakistan. Despite only 81 runs to defend, she led India to their fifth Asia Cup title.
