Jatinder’s captaincy stint started in late 2024 when he replaced Aaqib Ilyas in ODIs and T20Is.

He looks determined to take Oman closer to ODI World Cup qualification. He is already considered Oman’s second-best ODI skipper after Zeeshan Maqsood.
Jatinder has led Oman to nine victories in 12 ODIs, including a thrilling Super Over win against the USA.
