After a successful England tour, India women will gear up for the home World Cup. They haven’t yet won the mega event. So this is an excellent opportunity for India women to win the trophy on home soil.
Apart from that, India women have three bilateral assignments. They will face Australia in two series on either side of the World Cup. In between, Bangladesh women will arrive for white-ball games.
After the ODI event, India women will shift their focus to the T20 World Cup. All in all, it’s an important season for the Women in Blue.

India Women vs Australia Women (3 ODIs): September 2025
India women will fine-tune for the World Cup with an ODI series at home. They will host the Australian women’s team for three ODIs.
New Chandigarh will host the first two matches on September 14 and 17. The last one-dayer will take place in Delhi on September 20.

Women’s World Cup: September-November 2025
India women will begin their World Cup campaign on September 30. They will square off against Sri Lanka women in the opening match.
India women will then travel to Colombo to lock horns against Pakistan women on October 5. They will be back home to take on South Africa women on October 9 in Vizag.
The Women in Blue will stay in Vizag for a match against Australia women on October 12. Indore will be their next stop for a clash versus England Women on October 19.
Four days later, India women will be up against New Zealand women in Navi Mumbai. Their last group match will be against Bangladesh women on October 26.
India Women vs Bangladesh Women (3 ODIs, 3 T20Is): December 2025
After a month’s break, India women will host Bangladesh women for a limited-overs series. This will be the first bilateral series between both sides in India since 2013.
The Women in Blue will lock horns against the neighbours in three ODIs and three T20Is in December 2025.
Australia Women vs India Women (3 T20Is, 3 ODIs, 1 Test): February-March 2026
India women’s first assignment in 2026 is against Australia women. They will tour down under for a multi-format series in February and March 2026.
The series starts with the first T20I in Sydney on February 15. Canberra and Adelaide will host the next two T20Is on February 19 and 21, respectively.

India women will then travel to Brisbane for the first ODI on February 24. The second one-dayer is set in Hobart on February 27, while the last match will take place in Melbourne on March 1.
Australia women and India women will then lock horns in a one-off Test match. It’s a four-day affair, starting on March 6 in Perth.
